oh my god, you are amazing wonderfull
I've always liked your photography best of all, and I love the Kitty Cat Diary. Elena looks great here - very serene, and what a Mona Lisa smile! The light is very pretty and natural.
Thank you. It's rarely for people to prefer somethings else I do besides painting. Every once a while I get people telling me that they prefer my writing or music or photography, but 90% of the time it's my paintings they like the most. I really want to turn that around--I want everything else I do to "catch up" to my paintings. Personally, I think I'm best as a storyteller--everything else I do are only there to serve my storytelling.
Digital painting has gained a certain celebrity quality among artists (at least online) these days that the other arts like writing or photography haven't quite caught up with. It's certainly how I discovered you, but I'm a nosy creature - I like looking at everything my favourite artists are doing. That and the fact that it tells a casual, day to day story is probably why I like the KC Diary so much. I tend to think in stories, or scenes too, but painting in the best skill I currently have to express it. Although one day I'd like to try my hand at filmmaking and see what I can do.
